Pathfinder Day is a celebration that honors the global Pathfinder community, which focuses on nurturing the holistic development of young people. Pathfinders is a youth ministry program that encourages physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth through activities, adventures, and community service.
This year’s theme, “Pathfinders on Purpose,” speaks directly to the core of our identity. You were not born to drift. You were not saved to be silent. You are chosen to live intentionally—for Christ, for service, and for others. In a world where confusion and compromise often take center stage, Pathfinders are called to stand out—not by chance, but on purpose.
Pastor Busi Khumalo, World Youth Director, General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists encourages every Pathfinder wearing the uniform to remember that they are not just representing a club. They are representing a kingdom. The drills, the honors, the camping trips—they are tools, not the target. The purpose of Youth Ministries has always been to mobilize young people for mission. Our ultimate calling is not just to march—it’s to move into the world with the gospel. Every badge earned, every Bible verse memorized, every act of service is a testimony that says: “I am here for a reason.”
